Before the break Barca faced Real Madrid in El Classico and enjoyed a 2-1 win at the
Camp Nou. Ronald Araujo scored himself an own goal, but Sergi Roberto equalised for
Barcelona. It was Franck Kessie who scored the winning goal in the last minutes of the
game. These three points moved Los Cules very close to winning the title.
Franck Kessie could be rewarded with a starting spot after his winner against Madrid. The
bad news for Barca is Andreas Christensen’s injury – the Danish center-back was injured
during international duty.
